Mothers understand this math.
There’s never enough time — yet everything still gets done.

Be honest with me:
makeup first or lunchboxes first?

Some lessons are taught long before the bell ever rings.

She stopped.

What have you stopped doing, since you started womaning up this January?

As a woman, a mother, a wife, and daughter. I have found a place of peace and relaxation. The bath.
It is a place where I can sit back and relect on wisdom passed down from my grandmother, and new insight shared by my daughter.

The bath is the best place to rewind after a long day with my latest release: A Woman's Apron in the Attic, where we visit with grandma, over a nice cup of tea.

Just another piece of wisdom stiched onto my patchwork apron of everyday womanhood. Where everyday comes with its own set of challenges and victories.

What have you learnt today?

What does your growth look like?
Is it having a cup of coffee before leaving the door?
Is it trusting your capacity or onboarding more onto your already full plate?
Is it setteling in with A Woman's apron book after a long day?

This is a sneak peak behind this Author's apron strings, as she womans up on her way to work.

It is not pretty, it is routine.
It is the courage applied along with her lipstick.
It is the calm of knowing what awaits for the day ahead.

This is called Womaning up.
Part 1

These books are compilations of short stories about everyday womanhood, some sad, some nostalgic, some tender and some sweet.

A Woman's Apron is for mothers, grandmothers, working women and even the one waiting in the car for school pick ups.

A great read and an even better gift.
