For any street culture to grow you need to loose money, all your energy and time and make efforts for many years and expect nothing in return. Otherwise the movement is going nowhere.
Some people see us pushing a strong street culture and try to copy what they see but yet they don’t know what’s been happening before it got recognized and what’s happening behind the scenes. They don’t know there are sweat, tears, losses, internal and external fights, sabotage, emotional tests, prayers, discouragements, disagreements, disappointments, hate. Other things that happen behind the scenes we choose not to publicize them.
Street culture is not about doing an event and taking photos and calling it a movement as you may think this is how it started. Material Culture started way before it was known. There are people who are born for that. If u wanna create ur own movement regardless of the type, U must prepare for a decade or more of losses, efforts. Otherwise you just playing games. The movement must burn you first, some will run a way when burning stage comes, some will stay. People sometimes wonder why somebody who was involved in a movement quit the movement,😲 “hoanyewa mona boss”.
Some people even quit things they started. They still gonna come and go, only the strong survive.
Don’t see please smiling on photos and think it’s fun.
