🌱🍅 A little reminder from my garden as September begins…
We plant the seed.
We nurture it.
We wait.
We trust.
And then, in God's perfect timing, something begins to grow.

Maybe our lives are a little like that garden.
Some seasons feel slow. Some things seem to have died completely. And sometimes we don't understand what is happening beneath the surface.
But God is still working.

So here's to September — a month of growth, grace, gratitude and new beginnings. 🌸

I'm going to keep planting, keep tending, keep praying… and leave the growing to God.

“God did it.” 🤍🌱

🌿 Where Wild Things Bloom 💜
Some flowers don't bloom quietly.
They reach, bend, break, and still choose to grow.
Painted in soft watercolour, these purple blooms became a little reminder to me that beauty doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful.

The splashes are intentional — a little wildness, a little uncertainty, and a little life escaping beyond the edges.
Because sometimes, the most beautiful things grow
where we least expect them. 🌿💜

There are days when a garden feels like much more than a garden.

Today, as I walked among the flowers, harvested a few peas and worked with my hands in the soil, I was reminded of just how much there is to be thankful for.

I thank God for giving me the ability to work with my hands.

For the strength to dig, plant, prune and nurture.

For the health that allows me to spend time outside, feeling the earth beneath my hands and watching something grow because I cared for it.

Every little harvest is a blessing.
Every flower is a reminder of His beauty.
Every new leaf is a quiet lesson in patience and hope.

And sometimes, the greatest gifts aren't growing in the garden at all.

Sometimes they're lying beside you, keeping you company while you work. ❤️

I know I don't do this garden alone.

God gives the rain.
He gives the sunshine.
He gives the soil its life.
And He gives me the hands, strength and opportunity to be part of it.

So today, I simply want to say:

Thank You, Lord.

For this garden.
For the work.
For the harvest.
For the strength to keep going.
And for every little blessing that I might otherwise overlook.

🌱 “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” — Psalm 24:1

May I always remember that what grows from the soil is a gift…

…and so is the ability to tend it. 🌿💜

Finding My Way Home...✝️
This painting is deeply personal. It reminds me that even when life sends arrows from every direction, I am safest beneath the outstretched arms of Jesus Christ.
No matter how far we've wandered, His grace is always waiting.
"He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge." — Psalm 91:4-5
🙏

There are seasons when life leaves us weary, broken, and searching for our way home..

The arrows represent fear, doubt, failure, anxiety, depression and the battles we cannot always see. Yet none of them reach the one who kneels beneath the cross. Covered by the outstretched arms of Jesus Christ, there is safety, mercy, and a love that NEVER stopped waiting.

As I painted each brushstroke, I wasn't just creating artwork—I was praying. This piece is a reminder to my own heart that no matter how far we feel we've wandered, Jesus is always calling us back. His grace is greater than our failures, His peace is stronger than our fears, and His love never lets go.
