We’re incredibly proud to share that two Chai Society teas have been awarded Gold in the Food&Home Best in Food 2026 competition.

🥇 Parna — Jasmine Green Tea
🥇 Sona Sunshine — Assam Black Tea with marigold, mallow & tropical mango

Two very different teas, both recognised with the same prestigious Gold award.

For us, this is about more than an award. It’s recognition of our belief that exceptional tea should be carefully sourced, beautifully blended and made into something worth sharing.

A heartfelt thank you to the Food&Home team and judges for recognising our teas. We’re genuinely honoured to have our blends included among South Africa’s best.

We’re incredibly proud to share that two Chai Society teas have been awarded Gold in the 2026 Food & Home, Best in Food competition.

Our Parna Jasmine Green Tea and Sona Sunshine Assam tea were independently judged by the Food & Home judging panel and both came away with Gold 💃🏼

The Food & Home Awards celebrate the flavours, products and innovations shaping South Africa’s food landscape, with judging focused on flavour, quality, consistency and innovation.

For a young South African tea brand, this is a very special recognition and we couldn’t think of a better time to celebrate than Heritage Month.
