🧼 5 Things You’re Getting Wrong About Handmade Soap

Think you know what makes a good handmade soap? You might be surprised. 👀

Let’s clear up a few common misconceptions:

1. More lather = cleaner skin.🫧
Not necessarily. A mountain of bubbles doesn't automatically mean a soap cleans better. Lather depends on the formulation and ingredients — it's not a cleanliness score.

2. Handmade soap melts away too fast in UAE humidity. ☀️
It can soften if it's constantly sitting in water or humidity, but that's not the whole story. Proper drainage and allowing your bar to dry between uses can make a huge difference to how long it lasts.

3. Clear or transparent soap is purer and more natural. 🔍
Not necessarily. Transparency is a characteristic of the formulation, not proof of purity or naturalness. A beautiful clear bar isn't automatically more natural than an opaque one.
