I just wanted to sew pretty things! 🧵🪡
Now I spend 20 minutes setting up the camera, forget to press record, then realise my storage is full. 🤪

Since my surgery, I’ve been learning something my busy mind often forgets: it’s okay to slow down.

I’m always thinking about the next quilt, the next project and the next thing I need to finish. But right now, my body is reminding me to pause, breathe, rest and look after myself too.

Quilts are never meant to be rushed. Every piece holds a memory, and every stitch takes patience and care. Maybe life is the same. Some of the most beautiful things are created when we give ourselves time. 🤍

For now, I’m healing slowly, taking each day as it comes and reminding myself that rest is also part of the journey.
