Fairmont The Palm is a five-star hotel located on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hotel is located on world’s largest man-made island shaped in the form of a palm tree. Fairmont The Palm, has views of the Persian Gulf and provide access to the Dubai Marina and business hubs such as Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City and Dubai Knowledge Village. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque, with a total area of 22,412 square metres and capacity to accommodate up to 40,000 visitors, is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and the ninth largest in the world. Its name comes from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyane, the first president of the United Arab Emirates and sponsor of the building.
It contains the largest chandelier and handmade carpet in the world.
It is located in Abu Dhabi, east of the capital of the same name, 10 km from Saint Joseph’s Cathedral.
It is the largest and richest emirate of the seven member states of the United Arab Emirates2.
Its construction lasted from 1995 to 2007, 12 years of work for a total cost of about 2 billion dirhams of the United Arab Emirates (about 400 million euros) and is the result of a collaboration of international engineers and craftsmen, and 2,500 workers working on site below 40°C.
In Abu Dhabi, the 200 local mosques are forbidden to non-Muslims, but this mosque is an exception, and tourists can visit it.

يعد مسجد الشيخ زايد، الذي تبلغ مساحته الإجمالية 22412 مترًا مربعًا ويتسع لاستيعاب ما يصل إلى 40.000 زائر، أكبر مسجد في الإمارات العربية المتحدة وتاسع أكبر مسجد في العالم. يأتي اسمها من الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، أول رئيس لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وراعي المبنى.
يحتوي على أكبر ثريا وسجادة يدوية في العالم.
تقع في أبو ظبي، شرق العاصمة التي تحمل الاسم نفسه، على بعد 10 كيلومترات من كاتدرائية القديس يوسف.
وهي أكبر وأغنى إمارة من الدول السبع الأعضاء في Emirates2 العربية المتحدة.
استمر تشييده من عام 1995 إلى عام 2007، 12 سنة من العمل بتكلفة إجمالية تبلغ حوالي 2 مليار درهم من الإمارات العربية المتحدة (حوالي 400 مليون يورو) وهو نتيجة لتعاون المهندسين والحرفيين الدوليين، و 2500 عامل يعملون في الموقع تحت 40 درجة مئوية.
في أبو ظبي، يحظر على غير المسلمين 200 مسجد محلي، لكن هذا المسجد استثناء، ويمكن للسياح زيارته.

Abu Dabi, sometimes spelled Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi or Aboû Dabî is the capital of the emirate of Abu Dabi and the United Arab Emirates.
Although there are traces of civilization several millennia before our era, the area was not permanently inhabited until the eighteenth century. The city grew significantly in the 20th century, largely thanks to oil revenues.
Today, Abu Dhabi, which has a population of nearly 1.483 million, is the third largest city in the United Arab Emirates, after Charjah and Dubai. It is the political and industrial center of the federation, and an important cultural and commercial center in the Persian Gulf, due to its position as capital.

أبو دابي، التي تُهجأ أحيانًا أبو ظبي أو أبو ظبي أو أبو دابي هي عاصمة إمارة أبو دابي والإمارات العربية المتحدة.
على الرغم من وجود آثار للحضارة قبل عدة آلاف من السنين من عصرنا، إلا أن المنطقة لم تكن مأهولة بشكل دائم حتى القرن الثامن عشر. نمت المدينة بشكل كبير في القرن العشرين، ويرجع الفضل في ذلك إلى حد كبير إلى عائدات النفط.
اليوم، أبو ظبي، التي يبلغ عدد سكانها ما يقرب من 1.483 مليون نسمة، هي ثالث أكبر مدينة في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، بعد الشارقة ودبي. وهي المركز السياسي والصناعي للاتحاد، ومركز ثقافي وتجاري مهم في الخليج العربي، بسبب مكانتها كعاصمة.
