got a PSN gift card and not sure how to use it? here's the complete guide.

METHOD 1 — PS5 console:
1. go to PlayStation Store
2. scroll down → tap your avatar icon or '...More'
3. select 'Redeem Codes'
4. enter your 12-digit code → confirm

METHOD 2 — website (store. playstation.com):
1. sign in to your PSN account
2. click your avatar → 'Redeem Codes'
3. enter the code → confirm

METHOD 3 — PlayStation App (iPhone or Android):
1. open the app → tap your avatar
2. scroll to 'Account Settings'
3. tap 'Redeem Codes'
4. enter the code → done

⚠️ critical: your gift card region must match your PSN account region. UAE card → UAE account. KSA card → KSA account. if they don't match, the code will fail.

this comes up constantly — so here's the definitive answer.

can you change your PSN account region? no.

your PSN account region is permanently locked the moment you create the account. sony cannot override it. support cannot override it. there is no setting, no workaround, no support ticket that changes this.

the currency shown in your PlayStation Store (USD, GBP, AED, SAR...) tells you exactly which region your account is in.

what this means for gift cards:
→ a US PSN card ($) only works on a US PSN account
→ a UAE PSN card (AED) only works on a UAE PSN account
→ a KSA PSN card (SAR) only works on a KSA PSN account
→ no auto-conversion. no exceptions.

what to do: check your store currency first, then buy the matching region card. AR-Pay has PSN cards for UAE, KSA, US, UK, and more.
