If you're a woman who did not complete your high school studies, did not attend high school, or did not obtain satisfactory passes in CXC Maths and English, our Adult Booster Course (ABC Program) is the perfect p opportunity for you to build skills, gain confidence, earn certifications, and create a brighter future that will make you more marketable in today's World of Work.

We are offering 15 partly funded scholarships, thanks to the generous support of the Mill Reef Fund!

The regular program fee is $333 per month.

Application deadline is September 25th 2026.

Program starts on October 1st and will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays starting at 6:00pm.

Our new Kindergarteners are well underway with their pre-writing activities.

Pre-writing exercises help develop their fine motor skills, reinforce letter shapes and patterns, and prepare students for more complex writing tasks.

At Mill Academy we love to support local authors.

As we become more intentional about our reading program this year, we supported the work of local author, Floree Williams Whyte, by purchasing copies of her 3 story books, The Wonderful World of Yohan, Tete's Butterfly, and Dance on the Moon, for our growing school library. All of Floree's books were published by Moondancer Books and are available for purchase on Amazon.

Way to go Ethan! He was able to answer Floree's questions based on her reading of The Wonderful World of Yohan and won a copy of that book!

We had a fantastic time celebrating World Literacy Day with Mrs. Celia Samuel from the Rotary Club of Antigua.

She read, and had the children join in reading the lovely book- “What Does Peace Look Like?”

The day was filled with joy and the children had a blast. Activities like these are so important because they help students build vocabulary, listening skills, and a love for reading. Our motivation is that children will be inspired to read on their own. And, as we know, reading opens portals of adventure, creativity and imagination.

The new school year has started with a bang at Mill Academy!

In commemoration of World Literacy Day, today we had the pleasure of welcoming Floree Williams Whyte, local author, publisher and founder of Moondancer Books.

Floree read to our students from her collection. If you ever had the opportunity to read any of her published books, which are available on Amazon, please share your favourite one in the Comments.

This year’s World Literacy Day theme is "Literacy for the people, the planet and prosperity" and today marks 60 years since UNESCO proclaimed the observation.

At least 739M people worldwide still lack basic reading and writing skills. And about 4 in 10 children globally fail to reach minimum reading proficiencies. At Mill Academy, we challenge the status quo. We love watching young minds thrive! Our nurturing teaching style is designed to gently guide and inspire our students to reach their highest potential.

At Mill Academy, we teach young students creative and engaging ways to learn mathematics, similar to what's shown in this video. Instead of relying on rote memorization, methods like these help students focus on number recognition and understanding the sequence, making math both fun and meaningful!
