"There is an authentic needlework studio on Tigran Mets street in Gyumri. Each centimeter of the studio is nourished with passion about work and motivation to make a beloved hobby into the product that many need and associate with Gyumri if taken abroad.
Mary Koshtoyan does it in her studio - she creates, inspires, and shares; makes amazing and creative winter coats, shoes, and other accessories from wool. They differ in its uniqueness and creativity, and we may call them “a piece of art” indeed. There are also fears and obstacles that she has faced while starting the business. But, as Mary says, she put everything aside and just dived into the creation process.
Today, due to her courage and dedication to work, Mary has her own studio and is enjoying each minute of life there. Mary shows that a person should not underestimate one’s efforts and let fears overtake, teaches how to do the work with love and passion that will eventually love you back.
The students from the English and Communications at American University of Armenia provided support and content through a short internship project with Deem Communications for the project. This is one if the results.
