Asparez (Ասպարեզ) - Anathema - 88 000 AMD
(հայերեն ⬇️) Armenian heavy metal from Yerevan, recorded back in the late 1980s and released by Melodiya in 1990. This is the first time we’ve had this record in stock, and it’s in excellent condition.
Not just a rarity, but a true rock artifact: heavy riffs, dramatic vocals, Armenian melodic flavour, and the feeling of a time when music like this sounded not merely like a style, but like a challenge.
Music lovers often speak of this record as a hidden metal treasure. This is one of the most distinctive heavy bands of the late ’80s: a highly sought-after record that many collectors want, but very few have even held in their hands.
The music here is raw, alive, and a little dark without Western gloss, but with real character.
That’s the beauty of it: you don’t hear an attempt to “sound like Iron Maiden,” but a distinct Armenian nerve running through heavy metal.

ձայնագրված 1980 -ականների վերջին և թողարկված «Մելոդիա» -ի կողմից 1990 թվականին։ Այս ձայնասկավառակը մեզ մոտ նոր է և այն անթերի վիճակում է։
Ոչ միայն հազվագյուտ, այլ իսկական ռոք արտեֆակտ, ծանր ռիֆներ, դրամատիկ վոկալ, հայկական մեղեդիներ և այն ժամանակի զգացողություն, երբ նման երաժշտությունը հնչում էր ոչ թե որպես ոճ, այլ որպես մարտահրավեր։
Երաժշտասերները հաճախ այս ձայնասկավառակի մասին խոսում են որպես թաքնված մետալ գանձ։ 80 -ականների վերջի ամենա յուրահատուկ ծանր մետալի խմբերից մեկը՝ շատ պահանջված ձայնասկավառակ, շատ կոլեկցիոներների կողմից ցանկալի, սակայն քչերն են այն նույնիսկ ձեռքում պահել։
Այստեղ երաժշտությունը կոպիտ է, աշխույժ, կենսուրախ, մի փոքր մռայլ՝ զուրկ արևմտյան փայլից, բայց լի բնավորությամբ, գեղեցկությունը հենց դրանում է, լսվում է ոչ թե «Iron Maiden -ի նման լինելու» փորձ, այլ ծանր մետալի եզակի հայկական էությունը։
