Considering the fact that most of the population works a standard 8am to 5pm job, Monday through Friday with an hour for lunch:
• Many people need pick up packages but don’t want to deal with the traffic
• Quite a few people send their clothes to the laundry and dry cleaners but can’t find the time to pick them up
• Companies and businesses sometimes need to have an important letter or document delivered across the island urgently but sometimes there is no one to do it for them
The common denominator in all of these conclusions is time. More often than not, because of hectic schedules, these persons can’t seem to find the time to get these things done. Time is valuable and every minute counts so my question was “would people object to paying for a service that saves them time, even if it was a few minutes?”
That is how the idea for Quick 2 You Pickup & Delivery came about; to give persons a few extra minutes in their day by letting a third party pick up and/or deliver items for them. Also, with the advent of E-tailers the growth of online shopping, the demand for reliable, cost-effective pickup and delivery services has been growing on the island for several years as the island’s population continues to grow. In addition to a growing population, there are more customers who require faster service, such as the emerging business owner who needs documents delivered urgently to the home improver who needs light hardware items delivered to their house for them to continue their projects. There are other local courier services in the area, but I believe there is ample room, due to our growing local economy, for another reliable courier service.
