Still buzzing from last night! ⚡️

I had the chance to support Wolfmother with my band Velvet Wasted, so I wanted to make a little something for Andrew Stockdale as a thank you for the opportunity.

I took a Wolfmother vinyl and turned it into a custom pickguard for his Gibson SG.

Such a fun little project and an even better night.

Huge thanks to Andrew and Wolfmother for having us. It was an absolute pleasure sharing the stage with you guys!

Drilling neck mounting holes is one of those steps that looks intimidating… but it’s actually much easier than most people think.

With the right measurements, a little patience, and a few simple tricks, you’ll get clean and accurate results.

One of my goals with Indiecraft Guitars is to show that building your own guitar doesn’t have to be complicated.

Love relics or hate them? 👀

Relicing has always been one of the most controversial parts of guitar building. Some people think it ruins a perfectly good guitar, while others love the character it adds.

For me, relicing has always been about creating a naturally aged, vintage-inspired look that feels authentic rather than artificial.

That’s why I always keep it subtle and focus on the places where real wear would naturally happen.

This is my process.

Built a custom guitar in just 48 hours
and took it straight onto the stage.

The part I’m probably most proud of?

The pickguard is made from one of our own Velvet Wasted vinyl records.

This project reminded me why I started building guitars in the first place.

A small update about Indiecraft, the current ST-style situation and where we’re heading next.

This project has always been built out of passion, guitar culture and the love for creating instruments yourself.

The last few weeks forced us to rethink a lot of things, but this is not the end of Indiecraft. We’re already working on new ideas, updated designs and a few exciting things behind the scenes.
