New at the teahouse: Yesheng Bai Ya. Wild-harvested dewy buds from ancient trees deep in Yunnan’s forests, naturally caffeine-free.

Unlike most teas, which are made from the leaves, this one is made purely from the young buds of the Camellia tree, the same plant all tea comes from, just picked at an earlier, more delicate stage.

Beyond its beautiful taste, what we love most is its versatility: brew it cold, steep it simply, or go gong-fu style for multiple infusions. It holds up beautifully however you brew it.

We caught up with Lisa at for a behind-the-scenes look at the café and her favourite cooking tips. Every tea we source has a story – about the place it grows, the people who produce it, and the careful craft that goes into every leaf. These stories are at the heart of what we do.

We feel deeply honoured, and very excited to welcome tea maker, gardener and friend Aleš Gallas from to Vienna for an evening dedicated to the art of artisanal Japanese teas. Book your spots on our website!
