New dates are online for the Nerikomi Workshop.

We had so much fun during the pop up’s workshop last month that decided to make this a recurring thing 🫶🏻

This time I have opened two dates (the last two sundays in May) make sure to check them out!

The workshop will take place in the lovely space from where we will be able to relax and create beautiful plates together. Learn the Nerikomi Technique and layer beautiful patterns into a plate with me.

At the end of the Workshop you will be creating 2 plates, and I will fire and glaze them for you, and you can pick them up two to three weeks later in my studio 🤍🫶🏻

Hope to see you thereeeee

Finally!

I’m able to show you what I have been working on super intensly for the pst four months.

This is the main reason I got myself a 3D printer last year 🥹

Here is a little bts peek of how I make these earrings, even after the design was finalized the process still takes quite a while with all the details and polishing for such small pieces. But I absolutely love them!

Porcelain earrings where the design is part of the hook, I also wanted to create the possibility of combining my wild clay findimgs with the earrings so that you can wear pieces of different parts of the world. I started with having some with the Magdalena clay from Colombia but rest assured that I’ll be intergrating more wild clay findings into my porcelain earrings.

Personally, I love the bubbly version the most, I wear mine in white all the time and even sleep and shower with them! They are surprisingly light so you forget you have them on.

Let me know in the comments, which design do you like most? The bubbly or the arch?

Hope you all have a great rest of the week and add the 1st of May 18:00 (CET) into your calendars because these will be dropping on my website by then ❤️

xx

I’m happy to announce the theme of my May 1st Shop Update!

Porcelain & Wild Clay earrings! 🫶🏻🤍🤸🏻‍♂️

I worked for months really hard to design & execute these and I am very happy with the results.

I wanted to create something different that what you see as ceramic jewelry, but keep it simple and elegant. So for me it was really important to integrate the metal hoops into the design so that they work as a whole instead of having just a separate “charm” for the May update I am bringing you two versions: clean glossy white porcelain & the other is porcelain dipped in Magdalena wild clay (from the last shop update!) that way you can wear a piece of Colombia with you🤍

I hope you love them as much as I did designing and making them.

Mark it in your calendars: May 1st, 18:00 (CET)

Next week I’ll be showing you a bit of behind the scenes of the design process of these

Until then I wish you a lovely weekend

I’m very excited to shaaaare!
I’m having a small pop-up from the 14th until 18th of April in vienna’s 4th district ❤️

The lovely has given me her beautiful space for a week while she is away and I’m so excited to show you all the pieces I have been working on recently with all the different Wild Clay origins and stories. And for all of you that live in Vienna (or are just passing by) to be able to see them in person, touch and feel them too!

I’m still planning all the small little details but I might have one or two workshops happening during this time, and maybe a closing party? Let’s see!

I’m also a tiny bit nervous 😅

During this time the lovely bags of will also be displayed and sold so fear not, I’m not taking over 🤍🤍

It is almost time!

These are some pieces of the Magdalena Clay Collection.
After sourcing some clay from a boat ride in the Magdalena River in Colombia, bringing it all the way to Vienna to my tiny studio and test it, process it and developed it. I managed to create these beautiful and unique pieces.

The Magdalena Wild Clay is rich in iron, which is why it has this deep chocolate color, the temperature that I fire my kiln is *just* higher than the temperature this clay goes to, having fluxes that makes the clay be a bit shiny yet a bit matte. This effect + the rich chocolate color makes it look almost metallic.
I personally love the half dip or exposing some of the commercial clay underneath because it makes you appreciate the shiny & metallic part of the Magdalena Clay just a bit more. The carved pieces are also some of my favorites because when the light touches those tiny grooves it you can see the metallic sine even more.

I grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia. But haven’t been back to visit that much since I left almost 12 years ago. Which makes this collection have an even more special place in my heart ❤️ i am definitely keeping one for myself, but I’m excited to see which ones will find their home first!

These beauties will be available on my 0nline Sh0p, the first of April (really soon!) at 18:00(CET)
These are truly one of a kind, so if you have one in mind I can recommend hitting that reminder button for this event I created in this post!

Meanwhile I wish you all a lovely Sunday,

xx

Really excited by this update 🤍

A lot of time was spent testing before I got to the texture of the clay that I liked and also a lot of time was spent carving for this collection. But seriously it’s really sweet.

Be sure to pop in on the 1st of march and see the collection online, and maybe who knows? One of them might speak to you 🫶🏻

Happy weekend
