Pierre Guillaume, Brussels🎻
Pierre Guillaume, born in Belgium in 1954, is a leading contemporary bow maker of the Brussels school. Trained in the classical French tradition, he established his workshop in Brussels where he continues to work with a strong respect for historical craftsmanship. He is also internationally recognized for his expertise in bow authentication and evaluation, and his certificates are widely trusted by musicians and collectors.
Francois Jude Gaulard, Mirecourt🎻
Francois Jude Gaulard was part of a long standing Mirecourt family of makers and worked under the influence of the Pajeot school in his early years. He later moved to Troyes to work alongside his son Louis Auguste. Gaulard produced a varied body of work using pernambuco, ironwood, snakewood, and other hardwoods, reflecting the diverse materials and methods of mid nineteenth century French bow making.
