How do you transform a space to serve the delicate nuance of a chamber play in the morning and the full-scale intensity of an opera by the evening?

We are incredibly proud to share the full story behind HNK2 (CNT2), the new stage at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. As featured recently in Telegram.hk, this venue is being hailed as a "technological miracle" for the Croatian cultural scene - and, for us, the true success isn't the tech itself. It’s what that tech allows the artists to do.

As project lead Lui Giaschi noted, ""First of all, I would single out the active acoustics system, which adapts to any type of program, drama, ballet, concert or opera, thanks to a network of 35 microphones and 64 speakers that literally model the sound in the space." this, according to Giaschi, means that "technique in theatre is not hidden in the background – it is an equal part of artistic expression."

Whether it is enhancing the clarity of the spoken word, supporting the intimate detail of chamber music, or creating the perfect sonic blend between the orchestra pit and the stage, our system allows the acoustics to adapt intuitively to the artistic vision. It removes the limitations of the architecture, giving directors, conductors, and performers the freedom to focus entirely on their craft.

This project was a collaborative journey, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our partners for their expertise in bringing this vision to life:

A look back at ISE 2026 and the road to Eurovision

It has been a busy few months since we shared our latest developments at ISE 2026, and we are grateful to ET NOW for featuring our work in their ISE special edition.

During the event, we introduced Amadeus Immersive Sound Next Generation, a system designed to help sound engineers and designers navigate the increasing complexity of modern venues. Our goal was to create a tool that offers more freedom in 3D sound design, allowing for multi-zone immersive setups and performer & spatial localisation, among other features.

That flexibility is exactly why we are so excited about our upcoming projects. The same precision and scalability that turned heads in Barcelona is now being put to the test on some of the world's most demanding stages, including Eurovision next month.

Fantastic to see the new Bangkok Immersive Experience Centre featured by ProAVL Asia!

We are absolutely thrilled to be included in their latest coverage of the grand opening in Bangkok. The launch event was an incredible milestone for the APAC region, and we want to extend a massive congratulations to the whole team at Renkus-Heinz , Vichai Trading (1983) Co., Ltd. , Audio technica and innosonix GmbH !

Acting as the acoustic "glue" for this sonic ecosystem, Amadeus Acoustics' technology provides intelligent acoustic control for a high-precision setup featuring 53 Renkus-Heinz speakers and 15 Audio-Technica microphones.

Few concert halls combine architectural history and musical excellence like the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.

Originally built in 1926 as a planetarium, the venue has become one of Germany’s most remarkable concert halls, often described as a true “planetarium of music.”

But even a hall of this prestige faced acoustic challenges.

To bring its electroacoustic infrastructure into the next generation, the Tonhalle partnered with Peutz Consult, Thomann GmbH, and Amadeus Acoustics to deliver a new system built on the Amadeus ART platform.

The solution integrates:

• Immersive Sound with virtual sources for 5.1 / 7.1 applications
• Voice Lift for optimal speech and vocal clarity

Highlights from the Amadeus ART::IP Launch in Vienna 🇦🇹

Last Friday, March 20th, the Future Art Lab at the MDW - Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien provided the perfect backdrop for a milestone moment: the official launch of our ART::IP (Immersive Performance) module.

It was an honour to welcome nearly 100 industry leaders - integrators, consultants, architects, acousticians, sound designers, etc. - all united by a passion for the future of audio. Seeing the room filled with such esteemed peers to witness the next generation of Amadeus ART was a moment of immense pride for our team.

What makes ART::IP a game-changer?
We’ve built a solution that finally masters real-world venue complexity. Today we welcomed a full house at the Amadeus Acoustics Consultant Seminar in Vienna 🙌

20 consultants, integrators, and sound engineers have joined us at Amadeus Acoustics HQ to explore the future of sound. From active acoustics and immersive audio to voice lift technologies and modern acoustic design approaches.

Day 1 includes in-depth sessions on the principles behind active acoustics, system design considerations, and demonstrations of the Amadeus Acoustics approach to immersive sound. The afternoon concludes with a visit to the historic Theater an der Wien, where participants will experience an Amadeus Acoustics installation in a real performance venue.

Tomorrow, the group will continue their journey through Vienna’s musical heritage with visits to the legendary Musikverein (including the famous Golden Hall), and two more Amadeus Acoustics installations: Mythos Mozart and Klangtheater (from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna).

It’s a pleasure to host such a knowledgeable and curious group of professionals and to share ideas about the future of acoustic and immersive sound design.
