How does the Amadeus system work? A high-density microphone and speaker grid are installed in the entire venue. AMADEUS creates a 3D time and position-accurate reflection pattern in realtime. Applications are open for our Consultant Seminar in Vienna (June 29-30)!

We’re bringing together a select group of consultants for a hands-on look at the latest in Active Acoustics and Immersive Sound.

Rather than just talking about theory, we’ll be doing technical deep dives and visiting some of Vienna’s premier venues to see these systems in action, including the Musikverein, Theater an der Wien, Mythos Mozart, and Klangtheater.

What’s covered: All seminar sessions, a detailed workbook, venue access, dinner, and drinks are free of charge.

The small print: Seats are limited, and attendance is by application only to keep the group focused and collaborative.

Manual performer tracking? Yeah... we’re good, thanks 🙅

Throwing it back to the recent Amadeus ART::IP (Immersive Performance) launch event! Check out Amadeus Acoustics CEO, Fabio Kaiser, breaking down the philosophy behind the new platform, specifically, its ability to easily integrate with other industry-leading tech.

To show what’s possible in a complex, multi-zone venue, we joined forces and integrated the Amadeus ART platform with via an OSC interface for the Vienna event back in March. By connecting the two systems, the audio automatically and reliably follows moving performers in real time.

For venues, this integration means:
- Ditching messy microphone setups cluttering the stage.
- Achieving flawless sound projection, all the way to the back row.
- Easily manage a multi-zone workflow built for any type of space, such as theatres, concert halls, and open-air venues.

And what was even better, the setup was incredibly fast and rock-solid.

How do you transform a space to serve the delicate nuance of a chamber play in the morning and the full-scale intensity of an opera by the evening?

We are incredibly proud to share the full story behind HNK2 (CNT2), the new stage at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. As featured recently in Telegram.hk, this venue is being hailed as a "technological miracle" for the Croatian cultural scene - and, for us, the true success isn't the tech itself. It’s what that tech allows the artists to do.

As project lead Lui Giaschi noted, ""First of all, I would single out the active acoustics system, which adapts to any type of program, drama, ballet, concert or opera, thanks to a network of 35 microphones and 64 speakers that literally model the sound in the space." this, according to Giaschi, means that "technique in theatre is not hidden in the background – it is an equal part of artistic expression."

Whether it is enhancing the clarity of the spoken word, supporting the intimate detail of chamber music, or creating the perfect sonic blend between the orchestra pit and the stage, our system allows the acoustics to adapt intuitively to the artistic vision. It removes the limitations of the architecture, giving directors, conductors, and performers the freedom to focus entirely on their craft.

This project was a collaborative journey, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our partners for their expertise in bringing this vision to life:

- Winther Sound Solutions for their precision in tuning and system optimisation.
