After the founding of the Lomographic Society International in 1992, it was those first exhibitions, those first cross-arts projects, those first Lomographers get-togethers, that first online communication of Lomographers with their analogue p
ictures and it was after all, those first Lomography embassies worldwide – which were forming the Lomography world. And then – in 2001, the Lomography Shop Vienna at the Kunsthalle Wien in the Museumsquartier in Vienna was the very first Lomography Shop launched – lead by Christina Bibawy. Today there are more than 30 Lomography Gallery Stores and Embassies worldwide, and in more than 20 years there was many great Lomography projects created and produced around the world, enhancing the idea of Lomography and inspiring the Lomographers and their friends. at an extraordinary location and extends the good old ‘LomoShop’ with a diverse programme of exciting new projects and services. The Lomography Embassy Shop Vienna is the city’s hot spot for Lomography products & services, as well as a shop glory for analogue design objects, gadgets and books! And more than that, the Embassy Lounge with its LomoBar provides grand space for lots of ideas & projects, featuring great people and their exhibitions, workshops and cultural events on a regular base!
