Aberdeen fishing and Outdoors is a fishing tackle shop specialising in fishing equipment for the impoundment bass angler. We also supply fishing tackle and advice for the Hunter River and those travelling up onto the Barrington Tops chasing trout. ng for trout before graduating to the fly rod in NE Victoria. He then moved to the Riverina and fell in love with fishing for natives in the Southern Impoundments. He completed a Marine Ecology degree back in the 90’s before working for NSW Fisheries at Narrandera as part of a team doing research into freshwater fish all over the State. Since moving to the Upper Hunter Nick has had numerous jobs including School Teacher and Sheep Farmer but has never lost his passion for fish and fishing. At Aberdeen Fishing and Outdoors we supply the gear and knowledge that anyone fishing lake Glenbawn or Lake St Clair will need to be successful. Techniques and equipment change with the seasons, we supply everything from your old favourite Plastics and NilsMaster Ice Jigs to new lures at competitive prices. Situated on the New England Highway in Aberdeen near the turnoff to Glenbawn Dam, 10 minutes from Scone, Glenbawn and Muswellbrook. However if you’re a little further away and cant drop in for a look, we are happy to post goods to you, we understand that a bass fisherman should never be without the lure that the fish are biting on NOW. We stock all the brands that work locally including Oar-Gee, Keitech, McGrath, Berkley, Smak, Slider, NilsMaster and of course Jackal and Bassman. We aim to supply what the BASS FISHERMAN NEEDS. We see Bass as an exciting fish that provides rewards to those fisherman that want to try something different.
