**Back at the wheel 🤍- Playing with textures**

I haven’t had much time to create lately, so it felt so good to finally get back into the studio and make again.

This little collection has been all about **playing with texture, shape and surface** — carving, pressing, adding details and just seeing where each piece takes me. No real rules, just enjoying the process and finding my creative rhythm again.

There are still plenty of pieces waiting for their finishing touches, but I’m already loving how this collection is coming together.

Sometimes you just need to get your hands back in the clay. 🤎

There’s something really special about this collection 🤍
These pieces are some of my personal favourites — soft pink tones layered with hand-painted details, each one slightly different and completely unique.
I’ve been exploring more hand-painted work lately and honestly… I think I’m hooked. There’s something about slowing down and adding those final details by hand that just feels right.

Yesterday was one of those full-circle pottery days.
I unloaded the kiln with my glazed pieces, came home and carefully sanded the bottoms, and this special piece was ready to go. It was created as a birthday gift, and yesterday I delivered it to its forever home.
Last night I received this photo… and I absolutely love seeing it being used straight away.
There’s something so special about knowing something made by hand is now part of someone’s everyday life.

A newer body of work, with forms and textures I’ve been quietly developing in the studio.
I’ve been experimenting more with carving — slowing down, working directly into the clay, and letting the surface become part of the design rather than just the glaze.
Each item is handmade, with subtle variations that make every piece unique.
More of these will be appearing soon.
