Also completed this afternoon.... this is a custom order roller ball pen, made from locally salvaged moreton bay fig. The detail in this wood is just stunning!

Anthony was gifted a gorgeous piece of Mallee Root on his birthday this week, and today is the perfect day to get out in the shed and turn some magic up on the lathe.

This custom order is ready to be delivered tonight to a valued client but I just HAD to take a few pictures before it goes. This pen has been made from an acrylic pen blank, but with similar techniques that Anthony uses when making the wooden pens. It has a pearlescent shimmer and the colour combination is incredible. Each pen is unique in its grain, finish, texture! This is a slimline walnut pen.... walnut is my favourite of all the woods that Anthony works with.
