A look back at one of our favourite cactus gardens in South Australia, That Cactus Place.

Featuring one of everyone’s favourites, Ferocactus gracilis, also known as the Fire Barrel. 🔥🌵

This place is seriously like a cactus dreamland, filled with show-stopping plants, including specimens that are 50+ years old.

The photos and memories from here never get old, and the lovely owners make every visit even more special.

We can’t wait for the next trip! ❤️

🌿 CAN YOU GUESS THE PLANT? 👀

We’re getting up close for this one! This incredible old trunk belongs to one of the more unusual plants here at Tough Love Garden Supply.

Think you know what it is? 🤔

🌱 A few hints:
• It’s definitely not a tree, even though it can grow like one
• It loves dry conditions and very little water
• As it ages, its trunk develops this beautiful peeling, layered texture
• It comes from southern Africa
• Mature specimens can become seriously impressive!
