XPS composite vs EPS composite
What is actually the difference between them ?

XPS = stronger, more water-resistant, more premium.
EPS = lighter, cheaper, but generally less robust.

This is exactly why we recommend getting detailed photos of your caravan during construction, before the cladding goes on.

Once the walls are covered, you can’t see what’s actually hiding inside 😅😓

Do you think Australia should introduce a mandatory caravan towing course and a specific licence or endorsement for people towing larger caravans?

With caravans getting bigger, heavier and more complex, should drivers be required to complete some form of towing education before being allowed to tow them?

I’d be interested to hear what everyone thinks. Is it time Australia introduced a dedicated caravan towing licence?

This caravan came in to have an awning fitted, but while bringing it into the workshop, we noticed a wobble in one of the wheels.

After checking it out, we found a fair amount of play in the hub 😳 — definitely something that needed attention!

This is a great reminder of why we recommend having your caravan serviced annually or every 10,000km, whichever comes first. Regular servicing can help pick up issues like this before they become a much bigger (and potentially dangerous) problem.

Staples and 240V wiring don’t exactly mix well 😅

This really highlights the lack of consistent procedures being followed. Could you imagine a car manufacturer assembling every vehicle with the wiring installed in a different location each time? 😂

There’s a reason proper procedures and standardised build methods are so important! That is what makes the top manufacturers superior 👌
