🐧✨ Rockledge Cottage always has the most fanciful Christmas decorations, and this year the theme is penguins!

One of the most impressive landmarks ever released in Department 56's Christmas in the City collection has arrived at The Last Lamplight.

Standing nearly 51cm tall, The Griffith Tower captures the grandeur of a classic metropolitan skyscraper while showcasing one of Department 56's most ingenious design techniques: forced perspective.

Many collectors don't realise that Department 56 intentionally creates its skyscrapers at a slightly smaller scale than other Christmas in the City buildings. This allows towering city landmarks to rise dramatically above the streetscape without overwhelming your display. The result is a realistic skyline effect that brings depth, height, and the unmistakable feeling of a bustling city centre.
