For anyone who’s built my old 2018 red hen design and is interested in how many of the parts can be reused in the new 2026 design……. The tubs to the left on my Lego room floor are left over parts coming out of one 300 and 400 class red hen. The tubs on the right are a combination of parts being reused and additional parts pulled from my Bricklink store. (About 15-20% are from the store). I also need to order in an additional $120 worth of parts, many of which are the 2x3 curved slopes used on the roof which weren’t available in dark red back in 2018 and more accurately model the roof profile than the 2x2’s used previously.
Yes, there are a lot of left overs. The new version uses a lot less parts and it’s mostly down to new parts that didn’t exist in 2018.
