One of our lovely Customers... asked for a colour harmony to match "Desert Rain" in our 8PLY/DK Mclaren (100% Superfine Merino) base. The colour harmony came out looking very visually pleasing. The complimentary (blue/orange) contrast is both striking and calming at the same time. It gives off "desert meets the ocean" vibes.

Do you think this colour harmony would make a nice "mini pack" ? 😀

Just released today ! This fadepack is called "Godess on a mountain top". It's a deconstructed colour set inspired by the "Men are from Venus" Colourway. Its available in 4ply Stirling ( 60% Superwash Merino, 20% Baby Alpaca, 20% Grade A Mulberry Silk ) & 4ply Barossa ( 80% Merino, 20% Silk ) bases.

We're getting there ! but still lots to do .... This is the prep-wall for our Bendigo display ! We're so excited to show you everything we've been working on. ! This will be the first time we bring, Blackwattle Original Colourways to Bendigo ! and also Folklore and Fibre ! And we're also releasing 2 new patterns... A beanie/Cowl Combo and a new Shadow Knit Pattern as well !

I'd better get back to work as there is only 2 weeks to go !

Looking forward to seeing all of the regular Bendigo-ers as well as some new faces as well ! 😃🎉🧶

The mini pack - display is growing ! You can see the new Apple/Plum mini-set fits in beautifully. The dark plum colour is also available in barossa base - 100g if you wanted to make a colourwork jumper or shawl for example the main body could be purple.

The "twitch and stitch" series is "inspired by" a variety of Australian Native birds. This colourway would look great in a hat, scarf, sock or shawl project on its own or as a feature colour in a large project.
