My "electric turntable" is now for sale at on the south Australia living art website.

It is a handmade string art turntable built using old vinyl records, CDs, bolts, nails and UV fluorescent thread. The lines are laid out to look like circuit paths, wrapping around the records and running across the board. In normal lights it has a clean, geometric look but under the UV it really pops- the threads glow and the whole piece lights up like a circuit board. The records are slightly raised to give it a subtle three- dimensional effect, While the combination of hardware elements and fine threadwork blurs the lines between industrial and delicate. everything's been put together with reclaimed bits, so each part has had a previous life. Its one of those pieces that looks different depending on the light and angle, so it keeps changing as you move around it.

The beautiful thing about art is that its better with friends!
I feel like there is a magic to art when you make it with someone you love. Seeing the joy it brings to others around you. And just being able to put it along side other arts to make a magical place that encourages others to bring more art into this world.
Art shouldn't just been seen, it should also be felt, hurd, witnessed and experienced. Together with music, flow arts, lighting, comfortable spaces, beautiful intentions and community we can make the world a better place.

Thank you so much to my friends that have helped me bring new layers to my art and thoughs who have helped with the manual labour of it. Also to thoughs who have inspired me to make new and better things.
