EXHIBITION 🌱 waste reconsidered* for ADW

Next week, our little eco shop will be transformed into a 5 day exhibition as part of Adelaide Design Week to showcase new SA brand Esse Bio Designs.

The handmade works will explore “the beauty in the discarded” with furniture, homewares and lighting developed from waste materials, diverted from landfills and showcasing the elegance that can come from perhaps less obvious sources through our everyday objects.

Focused on materiality, experimentation and sharing the story of the need for individual action to reverse our climate impact, these pieces become visible representations and of our care for our planet moving forward through the concept of Biophilic design.

Thank you to Collab 4 Good for coming in to visit us and hear about the waste furniture collection we make here in SA through brand Esse Bio Designs and to see it all in person.

It is always so rewarding to hear the reactions of people seeing these leather, eggshell and glass waste recycled collections for the first time and realising the impact we can make in our own lifestyle choices. AND that it can still be beautiful and elegant.
