Just a heads up that our organized Garage Sale Trail on the 25th October is cancelled due to unexpected circumstances.
We hope to take part next time around.

New Life, Need for Change

So I keep saying things are going to move along swimmingly then life happens again. I was hoping for an easy start to the new year and here we are looking down the barrel at the end of March.... and the word "hectic" just doesn't even cut it.
Anyhoo I'm scouring for inspiration in every nook and cranny I can find and am driving all around me mad with wanting to create goodies till rooms are overflowing.
Need to plan plan and then plan some more, I have come across some amazingly talented people and for that I am truly grateful.
I'm also going to have a huge de-clutter of some pre-loved stuff even though it pains me it's time to give my children some peace of mind that they won't need to find homes for my treasures.

After returning from my fact finding mission this morning I am even more convinced to forge ahead with my plans.......
The Christmas Gift and Craft fair was such a disappointment to me, with not being for a couple of years and not having a stall for several I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but apart from a handful of lovely stalls that I purchased from sadly to say to whole thing was dismal. The ratio of mass produced to handmade was disheartening and with such a huge area I was done in 20 mins so very different from days gone by where you made a day of it and came home thrilled with all you snaffled through the maddening crowds and at a loss as to why you didn't get all the chrissy pressies there with not a thought that you have been on your feet for hours and met some wonderfully inspiring people who held such great passion for their art.
If you feel the same and it may not be about this fair but others and want to see the return of a craft fair that leaves you wanting more, message me there may be a journey that is about to begin........

Good Morning everyone, as you can see there has been an absence of goings on here..... well it has been quite a hectic and sad few weeks, we lost a loved one to su***de- too young too soon and my beautiful daughter has broken her ankle just a few weeks away from graduation... yeahhhhhh poor thing though she has been so brave and tough through operation and just getting around.
With all this time on my hands running backwards and forwards for everything from a drink, i'm hungry "again" , i dropped my pen, need another dvd...... and so it goes on...... I have been muddling through some new ideas that I will share very soon and will be pleading for constructive feedback... cheers

Why do I do this to myself..... busy surrounding myself with yummy wool and needles getting ready for the annual school fete/market..... the needles are clicking away and the baskets are filling with goodies.
13th November is not far away, best get back to the piles ###x
