It is with a heavy heart that we announce that this year our charity Christmas display will NOT be going ahead.
Earlier this year the youngest member of the Disney wishes team (my son) was diagnosed with Hirschsprung disease,
this is a rare congenital bowel disease that is usually picked up upon birth , unfortunately due to other health issues my sons was missed resulting in lots of health complications till now , this year alone my 6y old has faced 5 surgeries and now has an ileostomy bag in place ,
he still has atleast 2 more surgeries this year and next and while we were hoping these would not alter us being able to host Disney wishes we have been given a surgery date of early Dec with an up to 2 week hospital stay .
As he has specialist surgeons coming in from interstate this date cannot be changed
For this reason we made the hard decision to cancel this year as we had to put our family first this time :(
I'm very sorry to those who include us in their traditions every year, we have loved to be apart of your lives and this will not be the end , we have plans to make next year bigger and better and to bring back Disney wishes on Chelmsford for Christmas 2024

Also as a special note , we have been asked to appear in the Golden Grove Christmas pageant at the Grove shopping centre on Sat 25th Nov
We will be going as our Mickey Mouse and a few of our usual characters will be there too like Beauty and beast and Cinderella , so if you would like to get a quick photo in this year please come see us then for your only chance
