Sorry it’s been quiet around here lately 😌

I hope all Australians came out to vote. It was a lovely day to be out & about.

I also hope after you voted you supported local fundraising efforts through the “democracy sausage” and cake stalls which were mostly organised by volunteers. A lot of schools use this as a fundraising event to help improve their facilities. It was great to see all the goods snatched up pretty quickly, so thank you for your generosity.

BIO: Karen (Kaz) is an Australian Artist and loves colour! She has been drawing and painting her entire life. Recently, Kaz been creating digital art and repeat surface pattern designs for fabric, homewares and slow fashion. She has online shops at Redbubble and Society6 where you can buy her art on various products from tote bags, to cushions and coffee mugs.
Kaz works in the Theatre and Events industry in a Front of House role as an Usher in a venue in Wodonga, Australia.
Kaz is an alumni of La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (majoring in Theatre/Drama and Sociology, with minors in Philosophy and History), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (P-12). She has a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism and Media Studies from Wodonga TAFE. And a Certificate 4 in Art & Design from Albury TAFE.
She has tried lots of different occupations over the years including Teaching, Public Relations and Communications, Journalism, Community Engagement, Marketing, Events, Writing and Hospitality. Kaz loves watching Motorsport (Formula 1 & MotoGP). She also likes listening to all kinds of music, reading, pilates, online shopping, theatre, watching movies/TV, and drinking hot cups of tea all day long.
Kaz talks a lot, has a huge personality and would love to collaborate with YOU! 🫵

We all know not as many people are out shopping in stores, eating at restaurants or generally out and about. This makes things really tough for our local businesses.

So before you click on your cart to checkout, check to see if the online shop is in Adelaide. If not, try to find a similar product here. Even large franchises employ local staff!
