This is what the Diamond Creek shop looks like from the road. I don’t have a big sign yet so make sure you look for the vintage estate sign on the front of the verandah. A sign will happen, it’s just not in the budget at the moment. So please look for this cool old sign (and weird metal contraption on top of the building) when you’re trying to find us ❤️
I actually love this version and I think it goes with the shop, but I know it doesn’t help you when you’re trying to spot me as you whizz past.

Croydon has some new ceramics in too!
Khoa Edgecombe makes these amazing Landscape mugs and plates that really do look like our natural environment. The glazes highlight the depth and variation in our natural surroundings as well as her pottery forms. I know that sounds a bit rehearsed and wankery, but seriously, when you see them you’ll get it. Every single one is different. Different highlights and lowlights. Different concentrations of colour and negative spaces.
The plates are my personal favourite piece; the most beautiful centrepiece for your coffee table maybe? (I can see it resting on a rustic timber top).

Thank you Khoa for delivering these to our shop and for making these amazing pieces for us.

It’s always an exciting day when new stock comes in. It’s even more exciting when I fill another spot in my stockist list in Diamond Creek ❤️ r e d r a k u p o t t e r y are a FAVE in Adelaide and so it couldn’t feel more fitting that we also now have some of these handmade beautifies in our DC shop.
Lovingly wheel thrown by Ally and her hubby in Brisbane, these are nice and light and the perfect shape to fit under your coffee machine (well, not UNDER but you know what I mean 😹).

So bloody stoked to have these goodies with me in vic. As with all our ceramics these are all unique and as such it’s really hard to list online. If you would love one please send me a message - I am always happy to help.

It’s our birthday today 👏👏 8 years ago I could NEVER have imaged where or how I would be celebrating today. I didn’t even know if I’d still be in business (I originally signed a 12 month lease to give it a go).

The photos in this carousel show the amazing artists who have shared my shop birthday with their SALA Festival exhibitions or pop up shops.

And not to mention my beautiful husband who has been my biggest support for the past (almost) 4 years. Knowing he’s followed my journey since the beginning and was proud of me even as a friend is the loveliest gift ❤️ The second photo is a snippet of the amazing flowers Andrew surprised me with today.

Enough of the soppy stuff though. Thank you for everyone’s support of my dream and for giving me the opportunity to grow into another space this year.

We are still going with our Birthday Sale ❤️ Both shops are closed on Mondays but the sale continues online. It will finish at 11:30pm on Tuesday 11/8. This is our official 8th birthday day so I thought it was an appropriate day to conclude our celebration.

If you’ve joined us recently you won’t know that I used to travel to a few cute places and share my trips on insta. I do miss doing that and staying in cute bnbs so I thought I’d share my trip to Life Instyle for the day. Seeing as I can’t share most of what I actually ordered I thought this was the next best thing 😹 So enjoy my trip to Fitzroy today.

If you visit the Diamond Creek shop over the weekend this is the friendly face you will see.
My hubby, Andrew is looking after the place while I head into the city to go to the trade fairs.

There’s been lots of talk about our Croydon shop lately (and rightly so, 8 years is something to bang on about). But I have been plodding away in the Diamond Creek shop too. We have this amazing kitchen dresser from the 1950s in store now and I spent the day making her cute. I’ve called her Barbara because the lady I bought her from is called Barbara. I hope I’m done with nighttime adventures for marketplace pick ups for a while 😹 But it’s also me, so you never know!

I’ve dressed her in puzzles and ceramics and wooden spoons and hot water bottle covers. I thought she needed to house pieces that would have been around in her heyday (but with a twist of course) ❤️

You’ll find most of them are reduced at the moment and then there’s a further 30% off with our BIRTHDAY sale 🥰 All our clothes are online so you can browse in your own time but we always love having you come in and try things on in person.
