I have been a terrible hype girl on socials for this amazing artist that I am SUPER STOKED to have in the shop in Diamond Creek. If you’ve been into the shop you will have probably heard me talk about her because you’re all enamoured with her incredible art piece I have hanging on the wall. But for those of you who haven’t been in yet I’d love to show you these amazing pieces by Melbourne artist Sarah Emily Rowe ✨
Sarah is an artist I have followed for a looong time. We had chatted late last year about stocking some of her textiles at Croydon and then when I decided to open a Vic based store it was a no brainer that I had to get Sarah’s work in. She has been lovely enough to pop this stunning original in store; it’s called ‘Diamond Lillies’ which I thought was super appropriate for Diamond Creek. As well as this original piece I have pillowcases, tea towels and tote bags featuring Sarah’s striking art.
I also have a few leather handled bags which Sarah has hand stitched to create unique one off pieces. I love a good tote as my every day handbag and these ones are sure to make you smile.

Oh, and… we have some clothing featuring Sarah Emily Rowe prints and made by Robyn from Robyn Hall. It’s a theme without being a theme 😹 When you see the clothing you will KNOW why I had to have this print in (swipe to see a few snippets of it). I’ll do a proper post for these pieces in a week or so when I have more goodies from Robyn Hall to show you ☺️

Thank you Sarah for having me showcase your work in Diamond Creek ❤️ The original artwork is in store only so come in if you have been waiting for something like this to find you.

You know winter is here when I have a new delivery of fingerless gloves in store. These are THE SOFTEST THINGS you will feel and wear on your mittens. Made from angora and lambswool, dyed these amazing colours and knitted in Fitzroy you will find yourself not being able to do winter without them.
We have fingerless gloves and sloves (no finger bits) AND in 2 lengths, which means you can choose the style that feels right for you. My personal favourite is the longer slove because it tucks under my sleeve meaning no wind on my wrist and I like the open style so my fingers can keep each other warm. This style is good if you wear rings and/or have bad circulation in your hands.

I have a feeling these will become a necessity in Melbourne winter so come by Diamond Creek from tomorrow to grab yours. Croydon peeps will have them by the end of the week ❤️

I’ve just reduced some pieces for a bit of a mid season sale on our range.
Someone got a bargain on some pieces yesterday (read: stole them) so I didn’t want you lovely supportive kind ‘actual’ customers to miss out. Thank you to everyone for your support over this issue. There’s always silver linings and knowing I have you all in my corner sure is mine ❤️
Everything is listed online and is available now until sold out. We only have singles of all sizes.

*I’m wearing a size 12 in the Mina Sweatshirt. I LOVE this pattern and this shape. Sorry for sharing a second photo of me in this outfit on the grid 😹

We all need a cuddle sometimes (especially after days like today) so I wanted to share these new friends that have arrived at the Diamond Creek shop. All handmade by Robyn of ❤️ their little faces make you happy just looking at them. They’re soft and cuddly and have flexible legs and arms. We have a couple of kangaroos too which have movable arms and legs!! Just the type of gift you can see passing down to your kids and grandkids.
These are online and we also have a small selection left at Croydon.

Handmade jewellery is a real labour of love. There’s so many tiny parts to every piece, nothing is fast and everything is considered by the designer.
I’m so proud to stock these brands and I love hiding them in little drawers and cupboards so you get a treasure hunt in store.
Just some of the jewellery designers we have in the shops at the moment include .st ❤️
Pop in to either shop to discover a perfect gift (for you or a loved one).

Croydon SA open Tuesday to Sunday 10-3.
Diamond Creek VIC open Wednesday to Sunday 10-4.

The incredible has done it again with her curated collection of cashmere blend scarves. These are a yearly staple for us and we adore getting the new drop in.
We have one of each design in both shops and they sure do grab your attention. The colours and patterns (not to mention the gorgeous fabric) make wearing art a dream and these pieces fit seamlessly into your wardrobe.

These are online as well 😊

Who wants to be a kid again?? I can only imagine the squeals that would have escaped my mouth if these were around when I was younger. To be honest I did squeal a little when I unpacked them 🙊

You’ve seen potion kits before. I’ve stocked potion kits before. But there is something about knowing these pieces are grown, dried and packed in Adelaide by my friend Pennie from that makes this line super duper special and all sorts of wonderful ✨

We have different mixes including biodegradable glitter, dried banana peel and bubbly fizz all ready to have natural fun with at home. Everything is safe to use and to wash away - Pennie has even created garden growing kits to bring some fun into the garden.
My favourite part are the handmade bowls made from paper and dried flowers and each kit contains a different one.
Oh no, wait… My favourite part is actually the dried flowers in jars - they’re just too cute!

This range is all available in store now at Diamond Creek and will be coming to Croydon in about 2 weeks. So stay tuned if you are an OG and want to see these in Adelaide ❤️

PS I had way too much fun playing around with this display 😹

Handmade ceramics will always be an important part of what I do. Knowing these piece have been made by 2 hands and carry so much love and attention to detail will forever be a love affair for me.
Using something everyday like a mug or a bowl and have it be beautiful as well as practical is a special kind of art.
We have so many different makers in both shops and I am lucky these artists trust me to showcase their work.
A few of the brands we have in at the moment that make pottery for every day include .10 .ceramics .ceramics ❤️
You won’t find these pieces online as every one is individual and will look different and feel totally unique. The best part about a real shop is being able to pick up and touch the products, so next time you’re around why not pop in and find the piece that calls to you.

The weekend was wonderful and now the real work begins ✨
Trying to make a space that feels truly welcoming and safe, calm and inviting. I think that’s what I am trying to bring to this world.
When I was questioning my decisions last week Andrew said ‘you’re doing what you were put on this earth to do’ 🥹 and I really do believe that (now). With all the chaos and calamity surrounding us I just want to support small businesses and bring their piece of happiness to you all. I hope that you find a space to breathe deeply and a little treasure to cherish when you visit one of my shops. A little joy in this world is never a bad thing ❤️
THANK YOU to everyone who has shared this journey so far and I can’t wait to see what it holds next. Hopefully with your help I can create a sustainable business full of colour, creativity and happiness.
