The RodWorks is an Australian family owned business in Adelaide, South Australia. Ross has built thousands of rods and uses that knowledge to continually source new and hard to find product for Australian rod builders. The online store has been set up with rod builder's needs in mind and is continually improving.

Our family is very sad to let you know that Ross died on Sunday July 7th from complications from cancer. He tried everything possible to stay alive. His passion was rod building and especially enjoyed being part of the Australian rod building community. He designed and established the RodWorks to offer leadership and support to rod builders. The online store will continue to operate as usual, although phone and email support will be limited at the moment. Ross's funeral will be held on Friday July 17th at 10:00am, at Harrison Funerals, 63 Golden Grove Road, Ridgehaven. A livestream will also be available.

Another quick little note a while ago I saw Casey from VooDoo Rods is now selling the Justace range of threads and being a tackle thread rat like all of us I bought some in with our last order to try it and wow what a lovely metallic thread to wrap and burnish takes epoxy as good as anything else I have used will be interesting to see the rods in 6~12 months once they have had some UV exposure heres a couple of pics.

Hope your all well haven't been posting new stuff for a while been a little hectic with the online store this is just a quick note to let you know we have the FUJI 4oz spools of Black Ultra back in stock "A" and "D" I know there has been a number of you chasing some "D" size. No colour preserver needed epoxy straight on the Black thread and those of you that use the FUJI poly thread now know how beautifully it lay's and burnishes and takes epoxy.
