RESHEDULED ST HELENS MARKET DATE - 20TH SEPTEMBER

A little weather update!

With much regret, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule tomorrow’s market at St Helens Park to Sunday 20th September. The forecast has changed dramatically over the past 24 hours and is now showing much heavier rain than we had hoped for. As disappointing as this is, the safety and comfort of our community and especially our wonderful vendors who put so much time, effort and expense into being part of the day, must come first.

We wish we could control the weather, but unfortunately, we can’t, and we feel this is the best decision for everyone. 💛
We’d love to encourage our community to come out and support our wonderful vendors on the rescheduled date, Sunday 20th September.

Every visit, purchase and friendly conversation makes a real difference to these small businesses, makers and creatives who work so hard behind the scenes. Thank you for your understanding and continued support, we look forward to seeing you in the park under much kinder skies.

Save the date and we will see you on the 20th September!

A little taste of Japan, a little taste of Greece… 🌸🇯🇵🇬🇷

Next Sunday, St Helens Markets is bringing even more flavour to the park, with delicious Japanese street food by Okonomini joining our food lineup this Sunday!

Come hungry, grab something delicious, settle yourself in a seat to soak up some sun and enjoy a Sunday session with good food, local makers and plenty of community spirit.

There’s lots to snack on, the hardest part might be deciding what to eat first! 😋

A bit of chilli + a lot of flavour 🌶️🔥

BOMU LABS m is bringing their delicious chilli infusion condiments to St Helens Markets on Sunday 13th September. From their punchy shrimp chilli infusion to their seriously tasty chilli oil, these little jars are jam packed with flavour and definitely bring the heat!

Our favourite? Without a doubt, the shrimp chilli infusion… which is probably why we’ll be making a mental note to stock up when we see them again! It’s seriously so good! 🙌🏽

Chilli lovers, come by for a tasting, have a chat, and see which one earns a spot in your pantry. 🌶️ ♥️

Some stories are best told through music 🎸❤️

We’re really honoured to welcome Guitars for Vets to St Helens Markets on Sunday 13th September. G4V is part of a worldwide non-profit organisation providing free guitar lessons and an acoustic guitar to veterans experiencing service-related trauma and PTSD, using music as a way to connect, create, and find a little space to breathe.

I connected with Jim through the Regency Men’s Shed, and his commitment to helping fellow veterans really struck a chord with me. He doesn’t just teach people how to play guitar, he brings patience, empathy and an understanding of how powerful music can be as a form of therapy. And of course, our shared love of old school music was always going to give us something to talk about! Who doesn't like listening to our tunes at the Market!

So come down, wander through our Market stalls in St Helens Park, grab yourself a coffee, food, bring the dogs for a stroll, sit in the sun and take a moment to listen to Jim strumming out some seriously good tunes. It’s an honour to have him and G4V with us, and I think you’ll love meeting him as much as I have.

TWO WEEKS TO GO! 🌸✨

Spring is in the air & we’re officially counting down to our return to St Helens Park on Sunday 13th September with these gorgeous market mornings calling us! After a little winter break, we’re ready to bring the park back to life with local SA makers, creatives, small businesses, delicious food, coffee, sweet treats and plenty of treasures to discover.

So start rounding up your market crew, tell the kids, bring the doggies for a wander and leave a little room in the diary!

We’re excited to welcome Mimart Handmade Jewellery to St Helens Markets for the first time this September! Bringing along her beautiful handmade jewellery collection featuring natural gemstones, crystals, made with sterling silver, from bracelets, necklaces and the most gorgeous, unique earrings.

Made in small batches, each piece has its own character, with no two pieces quite the same. Alongside her gemstone collection, Mimart will also have her gorgeous translucent polymer clay earrings, lightweight, colourful and just a little bit different.

We’re excited to welcome to St Helens Markets for the very first time on Sunday 13th September! Proudly handcrafted right here in Thebarton, their gin is made with plenty of care, character and a whole lot of local spirit.

Come by for a tasting, discover your favourite, have a chat with the makers and, if you find one you love, take a bottle home to enjoy later. A little taste of South Australia in every sip 💕

Our Prospect Christmas Fair Under the Stars is coming to Prospect Memorial Gardens on Saturday 5th December, and vendor applications are officially OPEN!

We’re looking for South Australian makers, distillers, little creators, talented artisans and small businesses to join us for a huge festive celebration and showcase the beautiful things you make, create and pour your heart into.

🎁 If you make it, bake it, craft it, create it or have a unique little business you’re proud of, we want to hear from you! This is all about supporting local, discovering something a little different and bringing our amazing South Australian small business community together for Christmas. ✨🎄

Spring is arriving soon and so is the good stuff! ☕🍪🍰

LOADED COOKIES 🍪 is back bring her those famous loaded cookies we all know and love, while La Casa Del Tiramisu is popping up for the first time in Prospect with small batch, single serve tiramisù in classic, pistachio and Nutella flavours.. honestly… umm, YUM! 💕

We’re also welcoming Peonybakery.adl for the first time, bringing freshly baked Asian breads and sweet treats, and AURO will be keeping us caffeinated with their locally roasted beans, sample their coffee range, find your favourite, then have it made fresh for you on the day. Basically, come hungry… and maybe bring a friend to share with!

Bring your best mate to the markets! 🐾

St Helens Markets is proudly dog friendly, so there’s no need to leave your four legged shopping buddy at home. Let them have a wander through the park, soak up the spring sunshine and, most importantly, make a beeline for the stalls they’ll probably spot before you do!

CT Cool Treats and Hoomans Best Friends Treats are joining us on Sunday 13th September with natural goodies made especially for our furry friends. We have a feeling there might be a few very excited tails, hopeful eyes and dogs suddenly refusing to leave the market. 😂🐶

So grab the lead, bring your best friend and come enjoy a Sunday morning together at St Helens Park from 10-3. After all, they deserve a little market therapy too! 🌿🐕
