And the week begins… bring on the Gold Coast 500! 🏁🔥

Time to hit the streets for my SuperUte debut and see how we go! A massive thank you to everyone who has helped get me to the Gold Coast this weekend. I couldn’t have done it without your support. 🙌

An extra special thank you to my wife, Lucinda, for holding down the fort and looking after our kids while I’m away chasing this dream. As she puts it, she’s a “single mother this week” 😂❤️ I owe you big time!

What a weekend! 🏁

The results don’t tell the whole story…

🏎️ Race 1 – 5th of 12
🏎️ Race 2 – 11th
🏎️ Race 3 – 11th

The biggest positive? The Mini ran beautifully all weekend. Plenty of power, no major issues, and after the engine rebuild it’s great to finally have confidence in the car again.

Now it’s time for the driver to do a bit more tuning! 😂 There’s definitely more speed to come.

To top it all off, we came away with 3rd in Class and another trophy! 🏆

That’s now 2 race meetings and 2 trophies. Not a bad way to kick off the season, and we’re only getting started.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported Bonza Motorsport, our family, crew, sponsors, and everyone cheering us on from the sidelines. We couldn’t do it without you.

On to the next one! 💪🏁

Day 3 of trying to convince people sponsoring a race car is a better investment than another Friday knock off 🍻🏁

After sending an engine to the moon at the last round, the car is getting rebuilt bigger, better and hopefully faster for Round 2 at The Bend on 26/27 June.

Still chasing a few sponsors to help keep this thing on track for the rest of the 2026 season. Doesn’t matter if you’re a small business or a big one — every dollar helps feed the Mini’s addiction to fuel, tyres and broken parts 😂
