Hi everyone,
Joel and Jake here, the new guys behind Frets & Stix! We’re honoured to be able to carry on the Frets & Stix name and legacy that Andy has lovingly created from it’s new home in Lonsdale, and can’t wait to get things fully up and running.

Unfortunately the store is closed for the time being
as we are focusing on making sure our new and existing students are all looked after.
Apologies if we haven't got back to any of you just yet, we are still in the process of getting set up.

Well the keys have been handed back and this will be the last post from me on the Frets & Stix Music page, as the new owners Joel & Jake have officially taken over the business.
All guitar and drum lessons will be continuing in January, with the commencement of the 2026 school term from the new address, unit 1 / 31 Ellemsea Circuit, Lonsdale.
Guitar servicing ( restrings and set up’s etc ) drum servicing ( reskins and tuneups ) will be continuing, but the shop will be temporarily closed and will reopen down the track.
Please call Joel on 0487717456 for all enquiries and book in early for lessons, as positions always fill fast before school starts.
Danielle and I wish Joel & Jake all the best with the next chapter of Frets & Stix in 2026 and beyond.
I feel that they will provide the same enthusiastic passion and professional tuition that has been our reputation for many years 😊👍

Well it’s time, last 3 hours for us here thanks 9.30 - 12.30 and then we will have left the building. Sorry no msging or putting items aside, first in, firsr served with what we have Everything 35% off 😊

Unexpectedly we have signed over the business name etc, so Frets & Stix Music Co guitar and drum lessons, guitar restrings, setups and sales will continue locally, but not in this shop and we will be announcing details during the week, once it is all finalised. I’m very happy that my drum students and our guitar students will start again in the new year and I can enjoy my retirement, knowing they are in good hands, exciting new chapter for the new owner ❤️

Well it’s all going so quick, please check the pics to see what’s left. 1 x 30 watt Laney bass amp, 1 x silver gtr/amp pack and 1 of each left hand black, guitar and bass gtr/amp pack left, 12.30 Saturday and that’s it thank you 🥰

Just to give an idea on what’s left, first come first served, last of the Laney Bass Amps 30 watt, 65 watt and 165 watt plenty of ukes at the moment, some drum hardware etc plenty of bass and electric strings, but sorry, out of acoustic steel strings cheers Andy

Thank you for all the lovely comments over the past few days and thank you to all our loyal customers and friends that have called in to express their love and support and stories, many who have been with us from 1993, it's been overwhelming and there is still a few days to go lol
We will be closing the doors on Saturday afternoon for the last time, stock is very low, we are out of acoustic steel strings, but we have electrics and bass strings, leads and acc, all heavily discounted.
The specials today are 3 x laney bass amps RB2 30 watt $335, RB3 $385 and a RB6 165 watt $450, sorry no ,msging, as it's too busy, first come first served, come in to the shop, nothing will be held, cheers Andy 🙂

After nearly 33 years, starting in 1993, the time has come to retire and hang up my sticks.
The shop will be closing permanently by Xmas, unless all stock is sold before hand. Over the next week all stock will go, so don’t wait to grab a bargain. Items will not be held, 1st come, 1st served.
As you can appreciate, sorry I am unable to respond to all messages, please come into the shop, thank you for your understanding.
We would also like to thank all our loyal customers, staff, students and teachers over the years.
