With 1 week to go till the show Melbourne, It's full steam ahead - boxes being sanded, branded and oiled, whilst blades are being polished and knives being glued.

Forging one of my 'Classic Series' kitchen knives in 52100 High Carbon steel - 4x speed.

18 bars of steel forged and normalised in a 5hr session.

52100 core + Nickel + 1020 cladding.

10 are for me and my next batch of Artisan Series.

Shoutout to my mate for the second set of hands in the workshop, efficiency was through the roof.

No foiling around here. 😆🙄

At the end of the video you can see I remove the foil burr from the edge - this forms as the blade is finished to a zero edge during final sanding.

Now to decide whether or not to etch for a darker finish? 🤔

All the parts have been roughed in. It's now time to refine the grinds and all the fits and finishes.

This latest batch of my 'Classic Series' will be available at the Christmas Market, Melbourne Convention Centre December 5th-7th.
