Some days the work I plan to do quickly derails. We found Cosmo this morning dangerously cold and anemic, although he was given meds yesterday. It has taken all day of active warming with heat lamps, warm air and a fire in the stove to get his temp up. Fluids, dextrose, more meds, vitamin b-complex. Yes, he’s a wether. But he was born to Nellie before she died. So, working on products to sell was set aside. Because his life is worth me struggling to save him.

Running a farm and a business that manufactures the products is something that will push you to your limits and beyond if you are lucky. The Kindness Croft is just me with Tina supporting and helping when she isn’t working her full time gig. The pieces of this puzzle always seem to be expanding. But at this point in time hiring anyone to help isn’t something in the budget. I love what I do and love the challenges it gives me. Although some days I’d like to sit down and crochet!
