We have become very good at filling the gaps.
The drive gets a podcast.
The queue gets Instagram.
Tea brews while emails are checked.
Even the few minutes that used to contain absolutely nothing are now available for more input.
Maybe every empty space does not need filling.
A cup of tea can still just be a cup of tea.
The kettle boils. You stand there. Nobody teaches you anything.
Quite nice, really.
