Did you know that before becoming one of Australia's most recognised eyewear designers, Paul Taylor started his career as an Optical Mechanic, handcrafting prescription lenses and learning every aspect of the optical industry from the ground up?
What makes Paul different is that he isn't just a designer — he's an Optical Stylist, Dispenser, creator and visionary who understands both the technical and artistic sides of eyewear.
His journey into design began when a young customer walked into an optical practice looking for the perfect cat-eye frame. Unable to find exactly what she wanted, Paul sketched a design himself. That frame would go on to become one of his most iconic creations and the beginning of the Paul Taylor Eyewear story.
Today, Paul Taylor frames are luved by people around the world for their bold colours, beautiful craftsmanship and unique personality. Every design reflects Paul's belief that eyewear should be fun, expressive and make you feel amazing when you wear it.
