Armadale Community Animal Rescue Group Inc commenced in Feb 2012 by opening a Rescue Shelter at 251 Railway Ave Kelmscott to provide rescue and rehoming opportunities for abandoned and relinquished animals. This provides the opportunity for pensioner and disability cardholders to bring their animals in line with the new cat and dog laws. ACARG are now setting up a new Op Shop in Armadale that will finance the program of free desexing and microchipping for pensioners and disability cardholders in the Armadale and surrounding areas. These Op Shops are vital in providing the financial support to aid in the eventual aim of ACARG that being to that all animals are brought into line with the new state laws of desexing and microchipping for all cats and microchipping for all dogs.
