The unexpected best selling and attention grabbing items at the medieval themed festival.

# 1. Egg aprons - got the most attention of all items on my table. So many people stopped to look and chat about the basket of aprons.
They also flocked to admire a crocheted chicken toy on display, a few enquiries to buy. I could have sold the hen multiple times over the weekend 🤣
# 2. The forlorn dragon - a one of a kind drawstring bag that was the only one I completed before the event. I had plans to make many more but ran out of time in the lead up. It found a new home at the end of the market 🥰
# 3. The asthma medication and epi pen case range - the unexpected best seller of the weekend. I met so many people who weren't carrying their puffer and or didn't know where it was 🤦‍♀️ hope those that bought a Ventolin holder don't have that problem anymore 👌
# 4. The drapery display - made me smile to see two fair maidens step in to point out and discuss the decor pieces I handmade to decorate my tent.

Of course our book sleeves got loads of attention and almost sold out too, but I didn't get any photos of those.

I'm slowly going through messages that have come through and I will be uploading some excess stock to our website soon.

I mean I wasn't wrong. I did think I did an amazing job creating something not seen before.
Did I think it was an awning that deserved the recognition 😆 I will accept the compliment as being for both and leave it at that.

Loving (and reliving) the spectacular photos shared from Balingup Medieval Carnivale . I did not get a chance to take any pictures. We were too busy, soaking it in , chatting and talking to people who came by.
Thank you to all who attended this year. It was a delight to be included. I was so proud to be able to showcase my wares to a larger audience, and the feedback from you all was so incredibly uplifting.
A massive thank you to the volunteers behind the scenes for once again providing the energy and enthusiasm to the weary, long driven stallholders who turn up for the occasion.
You bring the sense of belonging and community from the that moment. And we want to say we noticed and greatly appreciated it.
A special thanks to my family for all their support this year. I couldn't have done it without you all.
I'm going to take a long nap now, I'm so exhausted but happy 😊.

Procrastinating over this one for so long. I fought with my choices of zips and lining over and over again. Today I finished one book sleeve.
The results - I'm happy with .
The broken unpicker - another sign of how hard I worked on this . All my projects actually. It finally snapped after years of use.

*The reason it's wrapped in yellow tape is because I use to lose sight of it on my wooden dining table 👌

So happy to see them all complete 👏 stacks of book jackets done. Two sizes and a variety of fabric prints to choose from.
I've really got to get my own jacket sorted soon 😬 winter not over yet
