Free Upcycling Art & Craft activities for all ages in the Creative Hub - Badges, Magnets & Bookmarks from 9am - 3pm

Here’s your chance to give a book a second life by creating a fun book-themed badge or a laminated bookmark by using the pages of damaged kids books. Combine book images with stickers, or decorate with markers and create something unique!

The Great Puzzle Swap (9am - 3pm at Bookfest)
Swap your puzzles at Bookfest. Bring your puzzles to the information table in the foyer to receive a token to use to purchase another puzzle on the swap tables. Please ensure that puzzles are complete and in great condition before bringing them along. Puzzles (for the swap or donated) can also be dropped off to the Centre in the week leading up to the event. The ACC office is open from 9am - 2pm weekdays.
If you don’t have a puzzle to swap, puzzles will be available from $2 for (kids puzzles) and $5 (puzzles 300-pieces+). Puzzle Swap held in Meeting Room 1.

We encourage you to come dressed as your favourite book character at Bookfest! We will have a fun ‘magical book’ back drop where you can take a pic and anyone who dresses up will be given a voucher for a free book from the book sale - see the Book Fairy to receive your ticket - so give that favourite Book Week costume another run at Bookfest!
