Job Role: Retail Trade Assistant
You’ll work across both customer service and workshop hands on timber operations and handling. You’ll support retail sales, timber processing, and workshop tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This role is perfect for someone with retail and timber knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Previous retail experience and proven customer service skills
• Background in a workshop/timber environment with good timber knowledge
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Physically fit and healthy – able to lift, stack, and move timber products
• Forklift licence (highly regarded)
• Strong initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Good computer skills (MS Office, email, POS systems)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Must be available every Saturday
