There’s no “right” way to use a tuff tray. Some days it’s messy potion making, other days it’s small world play, sensory exploration, painting, sorting, counting, or simply filling and tipping over and over again.

✨ Sometimes the simplest ideas become the most loved!

We’ve been popping our Mini Tuff Tray inside our Large Tuff Tray to create different levels for sensory play, and the kids are obsessed. 💙

🫣 Confession time… I’m so lazy, I leave our tuff trays set up for days!

This water play tray has been sitting here since the other day… and honestly? The kids just keep coming back to it over and over again.

Instead of packing it away, I popped one of our mini trays on top, added some shells and beach treasures, and suddenly we had a whole new invitation to play! 🐚🌊

Sometimes the best play ideas don’t need a complete reset. A few simple additions can completely transform an activity and keep the imagination going.

Less setup for me, more play for them… I’d call that a win! 💛

Sometimes the best play sessions are the unplanned ones. 💛

While I was busy working on our new website (we can’t wait to show you!), the kids were climbing the walls with energy… so out came the Mini Tuff Tray for a quick potion play setup. ✨

On our recent trip to Dunsborough, we discovered the most incredible plant-based potion powders and biodegradable plastic free glitter, and we just had to bring them home. I honestly don’t think we’ve ever seen potion powders fizz like these! 🤯 The colours are absolutely stunning, and the dried rose petals smell so beautiful they make the whole sensory experience feel extra special.

Within minutes the kids were completely absorbed mixing, pouring, fizzing, creating and letting their imaginations run wild. It’s the perfect reminder that sensory play doesn’t have to be complicated to be incredibly engaging.

These little moments are exactly why we love the Mini Tuff Tray. It’s quick to set up, easy to pack away, and perfect for keeping little hands busy while you sneak in a few jobs around the house.
