Lucky we are so confident about where we are in Adelaide 🤣 We finally worked out that we are in Hahndorf, and in true form, Rebecca managed to find a plant or two to admire. We arrvaleays excited to see plants we can grow at home, growing happily in the cooler weather!

The early-birds are up and caffeinated while we wait for the rest of the family to grace us with their presence.🌞 Last night at dinner, Jim took us through the itinerary he has put together for us.🥰 We've an exciting day today...the limo is picking us up at 9.30am for a day of wine tastings. Some of us are looking forward to a relaxing ride, reading a book, aren't they Rebecca?😘 Others will be spending the ride catching up on client emails 🙋‍♀️ ( 😍) We'll try to remember to take some plant related videos. Rebecca can't walk 5 metres without giving a running commentary on the plants 🪴 We've already had an animated discussion at the airport about the gum trees in the forecourt.🤣

We've navigated changed flights🛩, cancelled flights✈️, calls to family members in the toilet to tell them of changed flights🚽and dashes to gates.🤣 Our luggage managed to find us when we landed which is some sort of miracle, and now the pit crew are trying to work out how to shut the doors and bluetooth the phone to the hire car. It really is a circus when we head off on our family holiday.🎪

Well, things look a bit different today! Jim, Pat and ' the girls' are off on our annual trip to Syndey for the Jewellery Fair (Pat and Jim own Spearritt's Jewellers too if you didn't know...busy bees🐝), so we won't be at Nuttall's Garden Centre today or next Sunday for our usual morning tea! HOWEVER, Jim has cooked up a storm and made morning tea for you all to enjoy today. Treena is manning the ship so be sure to drop in for a cuppa and keep her company.

Hedging shrubs is a great way to bring structure to any garden, and IXORA are a great plant to choose for this purpose. Choose a variety based on the height you'd like for the hedge. Alternatively, you can simply give them the occasional trim if you want something a little more free-forming. You'll be rewarded with bunches of coloured flowers on the new growth.🏵Drop into Nuttall's Garden Centre to have a look at the varieties we have in store, or ask Jim to place a custom order for you, if you need a larger number of plants.

Potted Colour are always a favourite to add instant colour to a garden nor outdoor area. If you know anything about Rebecca and I, you'll know we are instant gratification girls when it comes to flowers, and are partial to mass planting flowers to give that abundant, stop-you-in-your-tracks look! 5 plants for $40 is a great bargain and it means you can take a few big pots and transform your outdoor area in about 30 mins. Drop into Nuttall's Garden Centre to see what options are available today!

We are VERY fond of the CHINESE EVERGREENS, and Jim has managed to get his hands on some lovely variations of this plant, which we are excited to see!😍 He's also ordered some CURLY LEAF IVY, which we think would look great mass-planted near the front of a garden bed or in a decorative pot on the kitchen bench or dining table.
