We fixed up the front garden at Nuttall's Garden Centre on Sunday and while we did that, Jim took the opportunity to dig out a Crepe Myrtle from home that wasn't happy and brought it down for us to put in the garden. We are a little concerned with the 'extraction process' 🙈however we'll plant her and see how she goes.

It's time for an update on the herbs and flowers we've planted to supply Little Sunshine & Co. as part of their amazing breakfast menu! As you can see, the plants are doing so well, and we're excited to bring a heap of these back to the cafe for Chef Katie to use! Do you use herbs and flowers as part of your every day meals? It's such an easy thing to do...simply mix some leaves and petals together, add a little olive oil and vinegar, place on top of whatever you've cooked for dinner! Or if you'd rather, just pop into Little Sunshine & Co in Townsville for breakfast Tuesday to Saturday and let Katie make it for you!

It's always very interesting when Rebecca and Jim sit down to place a plant order.🤣 There is a bit of back and forward each time but generally, you can probably guess who gets their way in the end! The good news for you is that it usually means we have more plants than less, to choose from, and that can't be a bad thing!!

Right...we are done at The Nursery but it seems our job is not done yet!🥵 Let's go plant a tree in the yard for dad, and maybe partake in a little whale watching...🙄😂😂😂

Geez we are a bit rough today!🤣 Nevertheless, we are on our way to Nuttall's Garden Centre for another fabulous Sunday at The Nursery! I've remembered the Devilled Eggs, which is a cause for celebration in and of itself, so between that and Jim's cake and foccacia, we are all in for a treat today! Morning Tea is at 10am so drop by for a cuppa with us. If gardening is on the agenda for you today, (and let's be frank, it should be😍) drop in to pick up everything you need! We are open from 9am to 12pm today!

It's taken us a while to get through the videos of all the new stock but we love to show you everything we found on the recent buying trip Jim and Pat did! We are open Saturday and Sunday 9am to 12pm so drop into Nuttall's Garden Centre this weekend and see them for yourself!!

We are still making our way through our huge display of new decorative pots and Rebecca is loving all the options. Her conundrum now is working out which ones she can take home. As you'd imagine, she has quite the selection and space is at a premium!💚🌿💚

It's hard for us to show you the size of this pot, but these miniature ZINNIAS are just overflowing! As always, we've mass planted from seedling to create this amazing look. However, starting from see will do something similar so long as you sow enough seed. We'll be leaning on Zinnias and COSMOS as we come into the summer months to keep our big decorative pots in colour. There is always something that will flower in summer, so you can have great potted displays all year round.

It was either a fat cat, or a possum with a big ole butt. Either way, they broke one of our favourite bird baths.😪 Nevermind. Rebecca had a really hard time throwing this away.🤣 Can anyone else relate?
