I’ve made a small batch of the Model A to Holden stromberg carbie adapter. It fits very snug against the exhaust and I made it sit as low as possible. You have to invent linkages to suit yourself. $90 each plus post.

If you’re feeling like changing the carburettor on your A model but don’t want to go down the new manifold and 97 road maybe I have an alternative. Flip your old inlet over add the adapter with a modern , well 70s- 80s, carb and she’s good to go. This is the first prototype , I’ll mess about with it and get it fitting nice then if anyone is interested I’ll make a few. Cheers, Pete.

Sorting through the rubble that is my shed/ workshop discovered a box of gearshift k***s I forgot I had. Aluminium $65 posted in Aus. Bronze $75. And I can send international. There’s 1 bronze A not in the pic.

Sent half a dozen scoops off to be polished and they just the cats pyjamas eh. Only 6 available and they’re the single throat carb style, 58mm neck. I have some cast finish too. The only scoop made since the last ice age to fit single barrel carburettors. $65 cast, $95 polished.

One off chrome trims coming along for a one of a kind custom project. Some lettering to add yet. They’ll be cast in brass then polished and chrome plated.
