Today’s Storytime theme was all about SOCKS!!

Karen Fleischer from Reading for Kids Gippsland kindly stepped in as our regular Storytime reader, Karyn Blythman, was away on holidays this week.

We read about all the funny, crazy socks people wear and saw lots of different pictures of socks in the books written by Gippsland author Connie Knight.

We had yummy fairy bread and designed our own crazy socks as an art activity.

Next week it’s Children’s Week and we’ll be featuring indigenous children’s books, including Baby Business written by Jasmine Seymour. Our Farm animal theme will be the following week.

Thank you Karen and everyone for coming along and supporting our Storytime sessions.
