The ideal applicant will have:

-Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential

The successful applicant will contribute to all aspects of the store operations.

Tasks include:
-Processing transactions, ensuring all transactions are handled accurately, professionally and in line with legislation.
-Cleaning, pricing, displaying and advertising merchandise for sale.
-Interacting with customers and providing assistance where it's needed
-Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.

Cash City is a Perth based family pawnbroking and second-hand dealing business which started in the early '90's in Guildford. Cash City currently has 8 stores across greater Perth.



The Cash City Balcatta/Joondalup stores are seeking a full time employee based paying above the award rate with overtime. You must be able to work from either store.



We pride ourselves on our customer service and being a modern-day pawnbroker.

You will be joining a friendly, close-knit team in an innovative and growing business. Our team is Professional, respectful and most of all enthusiastic.

Your role will include appraising a vast array of items for Loan or Purchasing. Selling items in the retail section, stock management and liaising with the rest of the team and customers. The role we are offering is not your average retail job.

The Successful applicant will

Be customer focused

Think on their feet and be comfortable with negotiations when loaning and buying items

Have a CAN DO attitude

Be competent in Google searches to determine an items worth with computer, tablet and mobile phone knowledge preferred

Knowledge in Gold and Diamonds, Cars and Motorbikes would be an advantage

Enthusiasm to learn and retain product knowledge

Excellent problem solving skills

On the job learning and training will be provided.



The successful applicant must have a driver's licence and be able to pass a Police check.

If you would like to borrow money or sell something to us, we are open Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Closed Saturday. Retail will remain closed and re-open on Tuesday.
