We are thrilled to welcome back contemporary artist Nichola Roberts to the gallery.

Based between Melbourne and Apollo Bay, Nichola’s practice is deeply intuitive. Working exclusively with acrylics, she creates richly layered, atmospheric works that invite viewers to pause and connect with the emotion within each piece. Whether capturing the quiet, mist-filled beauty of the forests surrounding her studio or exploring themes of resilience and inner stillness in her contemporary abstracts, Nichola’s art brings a sense of balance and quiet sophistication to any space.

As a Reiki Master, Nichola approaches her canvas with intention and mindfulness. She believes that the calm and presence she cultivates during her process—often set to a backdrop of meditative music—naturally finds its way into her work, offering collectors a lasting sense of tranquility and warmth.

Trish is an artist deeply moved by the beauty of our ever-changing environment. Her work captures the resilience and quiet strength found in the landscape—from the enduring nature of rocks and ancient trees to the rhythmic movement of rivers and the shifting interplay of light and shadow. Beyond the scenery, she finds inspiration in the unique personalities of creatures both large and small, bringing their spirit to life on the canvas.

Working primarily in oils, Trish embraces the medium’s flexibility to build depth through vibrant colour and rich texture. Her creative process is inherently organic; as her brush moves across the canvas, she allows the work to evolve, welcoming new inspirations and emotions as they unfold. I am pleased to invite you to the upcoming AGAINST BREAST CANCER exhibition in 2026, a beautiful event dedicated to supporting a vital cause close to my heart.

This exhibition will be held at our gallery - FlackPTO Gallery (140 Inglis Street, Ballan, 3342) from 2 October to 25 October. It is a wonderful opportunity to view inspiring artwork, with the added impact that all commissions from art sales during the exhibition will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Additionally, there will be a Pink Ribbon Breakfast held on 3 October, from 11 am to 2 pm. Proceeds from this event will also go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
